Americans living or traveling in Lesotho are encouraged to register with the nearest U.S Embassy through the State Department’s travel registration web site at www.travel.state.gov. By registering, American citizens make it easier for the Embassy to contact them in case of emergency, and will receive updated information on travel and security within Lesotho. 

Americans without internet access may register directly with the U.S. Embassy located at 254 Kingsway, Maseru West.

Office hours for American Citizen Services are:

Tuesday- 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday- 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
