LMPS members to take part in ILEA training
The International Law Enforcement Academies (ILEA)’s mission is to buttress democratic governance through the rule of law; enhance the functioning of free markets through improved legislation and law enforcement; and increase social, political, and economic stability by combating narcotics, trafficking and crime.
On Friday April 27, 2007 the U.S Ambassador to Lesotho Mrs. June Carter Perry will be handing over travel documents to four members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Services who will be going to Gaborone to attend a course on Personnel and Facility Security through ILEA.
All member of the Press are invited to witness this event as well as welcomed to pose questions. The event will begin at 9:00am and members of the press are requested to arrive at 8:45am.
