Mission Statement

The American people have a long and close relationship with the Basotho people.  The U.S.  Embassy in Lesotho has five primary goals: 

1.       Containing the HIV/AIDS Epidemic and Revitalizing Health Infrastructure

2.       Achieving Sustainable and Diversified Economic Growth

3.       Consolidating Democracy

4.       Promoting Mutual Understanding and Support for Foreign Policy

5.       Securing the U.S. Mission and USG Interests
